Raf Medium Sea Grey Bs381c/637 17 Ml.

Easy to apply with an airbrush, it adheres perfectly to surfaces and dries to a smooth finish. It provides excellent durability and holds up well to weathering products.

It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

This color has been used in various camouflage schemes:

• Underside color of the Day Fighter scheme, applied to RAF fighters from August 1941 to 1947, as well as to bomber versions of the Mosquito.
• Upper surface color of RAF high-altitude daytime fighters, from 1943 to 1945.
• Base color of RAF night fighters, from autumn 1942 to the 1950s.
• Underside color of RAF night fighters, from the 1950s to the 1960s.
• Upper surface color of RAF Coastal Command patrol aircraft, from May 1947 to 1955.
• One of the upper surface colors of RAF V-bombers, from the 1960s to the 1980s.
• General color of RAF Tornados, from the 2000s until their retirement.
• Base color of 809 NAS Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Sea Harriers, used during the Falklands War in 1982.
• General color of RN FAA Sea Harriers, from the mid-1990s until their retirement in 2006.
• Base color of non-Commando RN FAA helicopters, from the early 1990s to the present day.
