As torrential rain soaked the battlefield on the night before Waterloo, the defenders of La Haye Sainte had little idea that their farmhouse would soon become the focal point of one of the fiercest struggles of the Napoleonic Wars.
Positioned at the centre of Wellington’s line, La Haye Sainte protected the crucial communication route to Blücher’s approaching Prussian army. Throughout 18th June 1815, the farmhouse endured relentless French assaults led by infantry and combat engineers determined to break through the Allied position.
This cinematic battle set allows you to recreate one of Waterloo’s most famous engagements with a complete terrain setup, exclusive miniatures and a dedicated scenario booklet for Black Powder.
The laser-cut wooden buildings provide an outstanding centrepiece for Napoleonic tabletops, while the included King’s German Legion defenders and attacking French forces capture the brutal close-quarters fighting around the farm’s gates, courtyards and walls.
The combination of fortified terrain, desperate defence and savage close combat makes this set especially atmospheric for narrative Napoleonic gaming.
From shattered gates to hand-to-hand fighting in the courtyard, La Haye Sainte remains one of the defining moments of the Battle of Waterloo.
