This box contains 30 plastic miniatures, including 20 crossbowmen and 10 archers. A wide selection of interchangeable heads and arms allows every miniature to be assembled with its own unique appearance, adding variety across your units.

Suitable for armies from the late 12th century through the end of the 13th century, these miniatures can be fielded in Crusader forces or in the many conflicts fought across France, England, Spain and the Holy Roman Empire. They are equally appropriate for recreating the Barons' Wars or campaigns involving the Scots, Welsh and Irish.

The crossbowmen showcase the later development of the medieval crossbow through the inclusion of the stirrup loading system, a historical innovation that made spanning more powerful crossbows faster and more efficient. The archers wear gambesons and can be mixed with Victrix Dark Age Archers to create even more diverse and realistic missile units.
