Persian Armoured Cavalry

The box contains 12 cavalry miniatures, supported by 3 rider options and 3 horse options. A selection of different heads, arms and weapons gives you further freedom when assembling the unit and helps create variation across the formation.

The versatility of the kit goes beyond a single cavalry configuration. The miniatures can also be converted into mounted archers, allowing the same set to represent a different type of Persian mounted force depending on the army you are building.

Armoured cavalry brings a distinctly imposing presence to a Persian army. These mounted warriors can represent a formidable shock element capable of leading the charge, while their heavier equipment gives them a markedly different appearance from unarmoured Persian cavalry.

The set can be used in armies fighting against the Greeks, Macedonians, ancient Indians and Scythians, as well as forces involved in the numerous civil wars of the Persian world. The miniatures are also compatible with LBMS transfers, providing an additional way to customise the finished cavalry and give the unit its own visual identity.
