Persian Unarmoured Spearman

The box contains 30 highly detailed plastic miniatures, including 24 unarmoured spearmen and 6 command models. Officers, standard bearers and musicians are included among the command figures, providing distinctive models to break up the main body of the unit.

The miniatures are supported by a selection of head, arm and weapon options, allowing you to introduce variation throughout the formation. Spare components are also included, giving you additional flexibility during assembly and helping avoid a repetitive appearance across the ranks.

The combination of spears and Sparas gives the unit its defining visual character. Placed together, these elements create the distinctive appearance of Persian infantry equipped to hold an opponent at a distance, while the large shields provide a strong and coherent look across the formation.

These spearmen can be used across a variety of Persian armies and conflicts, including campaigns against the Greeks, Macedonians, ancient Indians and Scythians. They can also represent forces involved in the numerous civil wars fought within the Persian world. For further customisation, the set is compatible with LittleBigMenStudios shield and quiver transfers, allowing you to add additional detail to the finished models.
