Ancient Horse Archers

The kit contains enough components to assemble 12 mounted archers, with separate torsos and legs providing additional freedom during construction. Mixing these components allows you to introduce variation across the unit and create riders with different silhouettes and poses.

Movement is at the heart of the set. The miniatures are sculpted in a range of dynamic firing poses, capturing horse archers shooting from different angles while their mounts remain in motion. The collection also includes the iconic Parthian shot, depicting a rider firing backwards while apparently riding away from the enemy.

For collectors looking to represent female Scythian warriors, the set also includes an optional female warrior torso accompanied by several head variants. This provides another way to introduce visual diversity into the unit while remaining entirely optional when assembling the miniatures.

The resulting cavalry can form part of a dedicated Scythian, Parthian or Sarmatian army, but these warriors can also be fielded as allies alongside Persian, Greek or Macedonian forces. The combination of historical versatility and highly dynamic poses makes the set particularly well suited to representing the fast-moving nature of ancient mounted archery.
