To use, knead your clay or putty thoroughly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Spread it evenly across your working surface and smooth it with a plain roller to ensure a flat base. Then roll the textured tool slowly with consistent pressure across the entire surface. Depending on the material, lightly moistening the roller may help prevent sticking. This roller is compatible with polymer clays (like Fimo or Super Sculpey), epoxy putties (such as Green Stuff or Milliput), and other sculpting pastes.

Polymer clays can be textured directly on MDF bases and baked at 150°C for 15 minutes. Epoxy putties cure without baking and can be applied on plastic or other surfaces. For sticky compounds like Green Stuff, use water, talcum powder, or modeling vaseline to minimize adhesion. Milliput can be used as-is or blended with children’s modeling clay in a 50/50 ratio to improve texture and flexibility. Clean the roller after use with water and a soft brush. This tool is not a toy and should only be used by children under adult supervision.
