This stone-pattern textured roller is the perfect tool for adding realistic detail to modeling clay, putty, or sculpting pastes. Made from transparent, non-toxic, and non-stick PMMA plastic, it ensures clean impressions without sticking. Measuring 14.5 cm in length and 2.5 cm in diameter, it’s specially designed for small-scale modeling (1/144, 1/100, 1/72) with stone textures ranging from 1 to 4 mm. Ideal for creating miniature roads, stone walls, or textured bases.
Easy to use, just knead your material as recommended, then flatten it evenly on your working surface. For best results, use a smooth roller first before applying the textured one. Depending on the material, slightly moistening the roller may help reduce sticking. Roll slowly with even pressure to create consistent textures. Once the clay or putty has cured or baked, excess material can be trimmed cleanly.
Compatible with various modeling compounds such as polymer clays (Fimo, Super Sculpey), epoxy putties (Green Stuff, Milliput), and DIY mixes. Clean thoroughly after use, especially when working with Milliput, using water and a brush or scraping tool. These rollers are durable and a valuable addition to any hobbyist’s toolkit, from tabletop gamers to miniature terrain builders. Not recommended for unsupervised use by children.
