Before use, knead your clay or putty thoroughly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Flatten the material with a smooth roller for best results, then apply the textured roller slowly with even pressure across the surface. Depending on the compound used (polymer clay, epoxy, etc.), you may need to lightly moisten the roller to prevent sticking. Polymer clays like Fimo or Super Sculpey work particularly well with this tool and can be baked directly on MDF bases at 150°C for 15 minutes.

This roller is also compatible with epoxy putties such as Green Stuff and Milliput. Green Stuff tends to be sticky, so light moistening or the use of talcum powder or modeling vaseline is recommended. For Milliput, avoid excess moisture and knead further if the mix is too sticky. Mixing Milliput with children's modeling clay in a 50/50 ratio can improve workability. After each use, clean the roller thoroughly with water and a soft brush. This tool is not a toy and should be used under adult supervision when handled by minors.
