The roller is easy to use. Begin by properly mixing your modeling material according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Spread it evenly over your working surface and use a smooth roller to level it before texturing. Depending on the type of material, lightly moisten the roller to prevent sticking. Then, slowly roll the textured tool over the surface with consistent pressure to produce a clean, even pattern. Once the material is semi-hardened, trim away the excess for a polished finish.

This roller works with a variety of modeling materials, including polymer clays like Fimo and Super Sculpey, as well as epoxy putties such as Green Stuff and Milliput. Polymer clays can be textured directly on MDF bases and baked together at 150°C for 15 minutes. Epoxy putties do not require baking, but their stickiness may require moisture, talcum powder, or modeling vaseline to ease use. After each session, clean the roller thoroughly with warm water and a detailing brush to maintain its quality. This tool is not a toy and should only be used by children under adult supervision.
