Before use, knead the clay or putty properly and level the surface with a smooth roller. Then slowly roll the textured tool across the material while applying even pressure. Depending on the type of medium, you may need to moisten the roller slightly to avoid sticking. It works especially well with polymer clays like Fimo or Super Sculpey, which can be baked on MDF bases at 150°C for 15 minutes. It’s also effective on epoxy putties such as Green Stuff or Milliput, provided you adapt your technique based on the material’s texture.

For Green Stuff, lightly wetting the roller or using talcum powder or modeling vaseline helps reduce stickiness. With Milliput, avoid over-wetting, or combine it with children's modeling clay in a 50/50 mix for better flexibility. After use, clean the roller thoroughly with warm water and a fine brush to preserve its intricate details. This product is not a toy and should only be used by minors under adult supervision. Properly maintained, it will become a reliable tool in any modeler's workshop.
