Macedonian Greek Successor Heavy Cavalry

The kit is built around extensive assembly flexibility. Three body options, 11 head options and 3 horse options provide plenty of ways to create visual variety across the unit. More importantly, the equipment selection allows the same box to represent cavalry from different periods and traditions within the Macedonian and wider Greek world.

The included xystons, or long spears, can be used to build Macedonian-style heavy cavalry suited to supporting a Macedonian army. For Thessalian nobles and other forms of Greek heavy cavalry, the set also provides javelins and shorter spears, giving you an alternative equipment profile for your riders.

Later Hellenistic cavalry can be represented through the additional shield and helmet options. With 24 shields across 2 variants, 16 xystons, 28 javelins and 12 swords, the box contains a substantial range of weapons and equipment from which to build your chosen formation.

Four trumpets are included for further variation among the models. The set is also fully supported by LBMS shield transfers and banner sheets, allowing you to add another layer of detail to the finished cavalry. Rather than being tied to a single configuration, this box gives you the freedom to determine which Macedonian, Greek or Successor cavalry style best fits your army.
